Construction of "catwalk" continues on 1915 Çanakkale Bridge


The construction of the platform where workers will work on the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, which has a unique architecture with its colors, figures and other features, continues.

In the works that continue over the ropes connecting both sides for the first time, the "catwalk", which is one of the most important points for bridge construction, is being built.

The catwalk, which is a working platform, is important in construction works as it provides the opportunity to work on it for the workers who work here.
With the cat road to be built on the bridge, it is planned to accelerate the work on the European and Asian sides of the sea.

Each design has a different meaning

The deck of the bridge, which will serve with "2x3" lanes, will be 45.06 meters wide and 3.5 meters high. The walkways to be built on both sides of the deck will be used for maintenance and repair.
